Getting There
(Approximate travel time 1.5 hours from Melbourne)
 
Travel along the Maroondah highway out through Lilydale, turning left at the intersection with the Warburton Highway.
 
Stay on the Maroondah highway, turning right after Coldstream Continue through to Healesville.
 
From Healesville you head up through the famous Black Spur, your route is lined with towering mountain ash and lush tree-ferns.
 
Travel past the Black Spur Motel and continue on  through the township of Narbethong.  Stay on the Maroondah Highway, passing the Marysville/Warburton turnoff. From this sign travel a further 9 kms along the Maroondah Highway when you will see the sign ‘Little Dene’ on your right.  Turn right here into Williams Lane and travel to the end of the Lane to the entrance into Little Dene.
